Sound, mature tomatoes are washed, trimmed, cut and dehydrated. The flakes are reddish orange to dark red and the flavor and odor are typical of dried tomatoes. Dried Tomatoes may be used in any recipe that calls for tomatoes or added to salads, breads and bagels. Oregon Spice Tomato Flakes come from China.
