This flour is stone ground from premium California white rice. White rice flour is gluten-free, high in carbohydrates and low in fat, it can be used to bake cookies, cakes, breads, dumplings and more, as well as thicken sauces and coat fish or other proteins. White Rice Flour is milder, lighter and easier to digest than wheat flour, many people prefer it to bean flours although some people find this gluten free flour to be slightly gritty.
